Pathways to Coverage:
Understanding Georgia’s New Medicaid Program

In July 2023, Georgia launched the Pathways to Coverage program, which offers a new Medicaid coverage option for low-income adults who can report a minimum of 80 hours per month of qualifying activities like employment, community service or higher education.

You can use this website to explore data on the Pathways to Coverage program; view stories of Georgians living in the Medicaid coverage gap; and access resources that policymakers, advocates, and others can use to better understand the program and take action. Starting in December 2023, this website will be updated regularly as new data and resources become available.
